Throughout the Old Testament, the Promised Land is described as “a land flowing with milk and honey” which signifies that it’s a land of provision and abundance. Let me show you a couple of verses that might add some light to this “milk and honey” concept.
1 Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere MILK of the WORD, that ye may grow thereby
Revelation 10:10
And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as HONEY
Notice that God’s Word/s are described as both MILK and HONEY in these two verses in the New Testament.
The provision of God awaits all those who seek the Promised Land. It is a land that flows with MILK and HONEY. It is a land that flows with the WORD OF GOD. Everything you need in life is found in the Word of God. He makes provision for you by giving you His Word. Speak His Word over your life daily… it will nourish you like milk… it will make life sweeter as well, just like honey. God’s Word is where God’s provision is found. Take it…. and eat it… and drink it.
