You already know so much about who God is and what He can do. But now, just for a moment, let’s talk about some things GOD IS NOT …
FICKLED: He doesn’t love you today and then have nothing to do with you tomorrow. His love is constant and enduring. (Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you with an EVERLASTING LOVE.)
PARTIAL: He doesn’t show favoritism to one person and overlook you because you don’t “measure up.” We all have the same potential and possibilities for success given to us by the same Father…differences are only manifested by our own ability to grasp and receive all that He has for us. (Psalm 99:4 “Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness.”)
LIMITED: God doesn’t have a limited supply of power or love that he divides out among those who call upon His Name. In the Bible, His supply is described with words such as ABUNDANT, OVERFLOWING, ABOUNDING and GENEROUS. (Jeremiah 32:17 “‘Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,”)
EXPIRING: There is not an expiration date on any of God’s promises. Promises that were made 2,000 years ago are still accessible to those who will receive them by faith. The passing of time has no impact on God or His Promises. (Psalm 105:8 “He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.”)
