Recently, a member of my family sent a text message to the rest of us that included two videos which had been spliced together to create one fake scene. The person who sent the video had been fooled into believing the content because it was very realistic … and very heart-warming. I’m getting so tired of this world’s fake-ness! What about you?

Check out these statistics:

5% of all Facebook accounts are fake.

10% of all dating site accounts are fake.

40% of all social media photos of people have been photoshop edited.

55% of social media influencers engaged in fraudulent activities.

At least 50% of influencers’ followers are fake accounts.

62% of internet information can be fake.

80% of adults in US have consumed fake news.

98% of Marvel comic movies have CGI in them. (Fake, computer-generated scenes)

(By the way, I got all of this information off the internet, so 62% of it could be fake!)

Now, add to this information the fact that the world of AI (artificial intelligence) will create a whole other level of fake-ness, and it’s going to be really hard for people to discern what is real and what is fake.

No wonder the Bible tells the believer to WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT! It’s not just because faith operates in the unseen, spiritual world … it’s because the “real” world (as we call it) has become so fake that people can’t tell the difference between the two. Trust your eyes more than your spirit and you’re going to get faked out … I promise you. DO NOT TRUST YOUR EYES, or you will be a prime candidate for DECEPTION.

There’s an old saying, “I can’t believe my eyes!” Never has there been a time when that was more true. Don’t believe your eyes! Believe what you know in your heart. Believe what God has spoken in His Word. That’s the only REAL THING there is!

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
